Dr Ross Perry’s expert advice on the latest luxury and cult skincare products at M&S was featured in a review by Woman & Home.
The feature included advice from skincare doctors, dermatologists and practitioners including Dr Ross Perry, who founded Cosmedics Skin Clinics, providing a range of skin treatments.
Dr Perry was asked to share his views on a selection of products, the first of which was Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream. Ross told Woman & Home readers:
“Formula absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream is a light night cream with shea butter and hyaluronic acid that means it’s not too heavy on the skin so better for acne sufferers or blemish prone skin.”
He was then asked to share his views on another product, REN Bio-Retinoid Anti-Ageing Concentrate. He said:
“Ren Bio-Retinoid Anti-Ageing Concentrate has ingredients that supposedly mimic the effects of retinol without harsh side effects or irritation. With seed, algae and flower extracts the serum has full array of moisturising ingredients.”
The final branded product from M&S’s range to be reviewed by the experts was L’Occitane Overnight Reset Serum, which contains Acmella Oleacera, dubbed ‘a natural alternative to BOTOX®’.
Dr Perry concluded:
“’Occitane Overnight Reset Serum uses naturally sourced ingredients that tend to be vegetable-oil based. Ethically sourced products and oils have a natural affinity for providing hydration to the skin which for an overnight serum works well.”

Dr Ross Perry
Ross qualified at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1994. His career includes NHS skin cancer reconstruction, work as a GP, as well as private cosmetic skin treatments.
He established Cosmedics Skin Clinics in 2003 and remains in charge as Medical Director. He is renowned for natural-looking use of non-surgical cosmetic injections (BOTOX® Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Facial Fillers) and also very well known for dealing with unwanted skin lesions and blemishes (e.g. moles, cysts, warts skin tags).
