Miss Rafique brings expertise in a wide range of advanced non-surgical treatments for haemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal skin tags and anal warts.

She will be a welcome addition to the team as the business continues to expand and thrive, taking the team to 4 Colorectal surgeons. As the only female surgeon, she recognises that some clients are more comfortable having treatment of sensitive and intimate nature with a woman. Based at Harley Street and Putney, she offers same day treatments where possible, saving a repeat visit for busy clients.

Non-surgical haemorrhoids treatments

The gold standard treatment is the Rafaelo radio frequency treatment for haemorrhoids. This is the gold standard treatment for haemorrhoids, offering excellent results and outcomes for patients. Rafaelo treatment is approved by NICE and is suitable for the majority of haemorrhoids.

Miss Henna Rafique also offers banding and injection treatments as more economical solutions for smaller piles. These are quick and straightforward. She can also treat anal fissures, anal skin tags and anal warts. These can often appear alongside haemorrhoids and treating all associated issues means a more comprehensive result.

• Graduated from UCL medical school 2007, with intercalated BSc in Pharmacology
• Higher surgical training in North West Thames
• Colorectal training at Imperial College London, Chelsea and Westminster and the Royal Marsden Hospitals
• MSc in Trauma Sciences with the Blizzard Institute at Queen Mary’s University London
• PhD research in Big Data through St Mark’s Hospital Academic Institute
• Subspecialty interests in locally advanced and recurrent rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, pouch surgery and complex proctology
• JAG certified endoscopist
• JETS National Clinical Lead for the JAG Endoscopy Workforce
