with Expert Comment by Dr Ross Perry
Star Magazine’s feature “Freaky Faces” opens saying ‘experts warn that these stars have ruined their looks by overdoing the cosmetic surgery treatments’.
The feature looks at celebrities including TOWIE’s Sam Faiers and Lauren Pope, singer Ellie Goulding and Lil Kim as well as Katie Price.
Dr Ross Perry was invited to comment on Katie Price’s appearance, which Star Magazine described as ‘puffy and over-plumped’.
The feature reads:
“Katie Price recently told Star she ‘would never rule out’ more surgery, and her face has become a talking point yet again after looking very puffy on TV.
“‘She looks like she’s been embalmed.’ one viewer jibed. Another added ‘She looks more plumped and plastic day by day.’
Cosmetic treatment doctors were invited to give their views on her use of dermal filler and lip filler treatments.
Cosmedics’ founder and Medical Director, Dr Ross Perry advised that she seemed to have gone too far with cheek filler, saying:
“Overindulging can result in a puffy and unnatural look.”
