Yahoo! sought advice from GP, Medical Director and expert health advisor Dr Ross Perry for its report on hangovers, entitled:
“How to tackle that hangover”
The article explored whether hangovers get worse as you age. Dr Ross said:
“The concept of hangovers getting worse the older you get is a bit of a myth. The amount of uninterrupted sleep can play a part in the intensity of hangovers, and it can certainly be true that you don’t sleep as well the older you get, so that could play a part.”
General metabolism is also a factor.
Dr Perry shared the following tips:
There is no cure for hangovers and it’s best to avoid them if possible, but if you’ve overdone it and are feeling the consequences, , but there are ways to ease the symptoms

Dr Ross Perry is Founder and Medical Director of Cosmedics Skin Clinics.
