Before and After Cyst Removal: Results

A large and bulky cyst was very obvious on this patient’s forehead. However, it was removed using a minor surgical procedure by Dr Ross Perry. The procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic and the patient was able to return straight home.

The results are excellent and show what can be achieved.

Scarring After Cyst Removal

Many patients are concerned about scarring and it is realistic to expect that there will be some mark after the lesion is removed. It is impossible not to have some scar after the procedure and Cosmedics’ doctors do explain this to their patients. However, as the photos demonstrate, the scar is normally a lot less noticeable than the cyst itself. What’s more, scars do continue to fade over time and the redness fades to a white line.

For particularly large or complicated cysts, an appointment can be arranged with minimal waiting lists.
