Back to Work Wrinkle Treatment for Men – As Seen on TV
This Morning with Eamonn & Ruth
Featuring Cosmedics Surgeon & Patient
We were very excited to appear on ITV This Morning, when they investigated the phenomenon of ‘back to work BOTOX’.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford discussed the rise in clients having post-lockdown treatments to improve their appearance before returning to work.
Expert insight about the rise in treatments since the end of lockdown was provided by Cosmedics Cosmetic Surgeon Ms Aoife Turner, who was filmed at the company’s Harley Street clinic.
They also interviewed a patient who had chosen to have injectable wrinkle-relaxing treatment to tackle forehead lines. 46 year old Billie works as a lorry driver and had previously worked in sales. He told Eamonn and Ruth that he had felt ‘insecure’ about forehead lines and after having the treatment, felt ‘so much better’.
He said:
“I was really insecure about how it looked and it’s something I wanted to do.”
He added:
“I did use to be a sales executive for many years, which is part of the reason I wanted it done.”
“It does work, I’m very pleased. When it’s time to get my eyes done I will be looking at it.”
He felt that such treatments would become the norm for men in the future, saying:
“As times change, it’s going to become more common and people are going to talk about it. I feel much more confident about myself.”

Ms Aoife Turner, Cosmedics Skin Clinics
This Morning spoke to Ms Turner about the rise in male patients. She said:
“It’s a trend I’ve been noticing in the last few years, but I’ve seen much more men in the last few months by about a third. In the last few years it’s gone from one in ten to four in ten patients being male – it’s an interesting trend”
She said that male patients tended to be aged from their late 30s. As well as Botox, she had noticed an increase in men seeking eyelid lifts to rejuvenate tired eyes. This is now available as a ‘day case’ procedure with local anaesthetic and no overnight stay.
“I’m getting men coming in to get their eyelids done, they say they look tired, these tend to be men are from late forties onwards.
“An upper eyelid lift takes about an hour and is £2800, and for both upper and lower it’s about twice that.
“The key is that the patient feels fantastic – not what other people think.”
