Closer Magazine this week looks at a number of celebrities who’ve gone too far with cosmetic treatments and procedures.
The article has collected a series of Hollywood stars comments on their experiences of cosmetic treatments and going ‘too far’
‘I have done things that I regret and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that’s good because it’s not always been my best look.’
‘No more surgery for me.’
‘It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like ‘No, I don’t want to be like that.’ I’d rather see my face ageing than a face that doesn’t belong to me at all.’ (on Botox)
‘I just want the mouth god gave me back, it was perfectly cute.’ (on her lip enhancement)
Recent photos have sparked speculation of surgical or non-surgical treatments to her face, which have been publicly denied on social media:
‘I have never had any surgery on my face or filler. But yes, I did cut my hair.’
Cosmedics Skin Clinics’ Medical Director Dr Ross Perry was invited to give expert opinion on the latest photos. He said:
‘It looks like she might have had dermal fillers to the lips and cheeks and Botox to the forehead.
‘Given her wide-eyed appearance it appears she’s also had some eyelid surgery. Personally I hope not as it’s not necessary for someone of her age.’
Cosmedics Skin Clinics’ founder Dr Ross Perry offers a range of non-surgical treatments at his London skin treatment centres.
However, he strongly favours a natural-look, based on ‘less is more’ treatments.
