Peter Andre’s ‘Baby Botox’ Explained
As seen on Yahoo! Life

What is ‘baby botox’ as Peter Andre admits having the tweakment
Peter Andre’s anti-ageing treatment
At the age of 50, Peter Andre explained his youthful looks in an interview with OK! Magazine. He said:
“As for treatments, the only thing I’ve ever really had was a little baby Botox because HDTV shows the lines,
“I’ve had no fillers or anything like that and I don’t dye my hair – I’m not interested. I want to see how it plays out a little bit.”
What is Baby BOTOX?
Dr Ross Perry, Medical Director of Cosmedics Skin Clinics, explained that baby botox is really just the same as regular botox, but applied in smaller doses.
“It’s just a case of smaller amounts of the toxin and only placed where it’s really needed. Baby botox is easier to maintain than full botox which makes it more affordable but it doesn’t last quite as long as traditional botox.”
He told Yahoo! Life that there is no downtime at all. Patients can even get treatment in a lunch break and return straight to work. Results develop over the following 1-2 weeks:
“Expect to see results after about 10 days, but these results will wear off after around two months.
“Many people get used to baby botox and enjoy the subtleness so much they then want to up the dosage.”
Baby Botox prices
Baby Botox uses small doses, which means that prices tend to be cheaper than a fuller treatment. Dr Perry said:
“It does vary from clinic to clinic but expect to pay from £200 upwards, depending on how many areas are being injected.”
As there are no current restrictions around who can carry out Botox injections, Dr Perry advised patients to choose a practitioner carefully.
“It’s so important to find the right, credible practitioner or doctor. Make sure they’re properly registered. Ask for recommendations from friends and never attend a botox party at someone’s home.”
